The Pantone Hotel

Thanks Becky for showing me this! We went this morning and it was very cool...very designery! Notice the bikes and folding chairs...I want!

Our first day in Brussels

We got to Brussels and fell in love with the small city. We both needed a little break from the hustle and bustle of the large cities...this seems to be much more quiet and quaint. It rained the first day, and the next day we went to Bruges. I forgot to take pics but it was so amazing! (When I get home I'll post my good camera photos.)

Anyways we have a day and a half left here then it's on to Amsterdam until the 15th.

More Paris

We couldn't climb it today because of such long lines but we are getting up bright and early to beat te crowds! Expect some great pics tomorrow!!

A quick cheerup

Last night was a bit rough for Kelly and I but I think we've worked ourselves through it. While I was on the phone with my dad last night explaining our situation with a very awful hotel room, all he wanted to do was help. While he may not have been able to immediatly he sure put a smile on our faces when he sent us this throwback:

Thanks dad, we love you!!

Paris!

So today is our first day in Paris! (i'm a little late on the posting but you'll have to excuse my lack of Internet). The first thing we did was visit the Louvre. We thought it was amazing and really big. Since we haven't seen great weather yet, after a couple of hours we got tempted by sunshine outside in the courtyard.

It was so nice out that we decided to go for a walk and get gelato, and in the process we stumbled upon heaven. Here, they call it Luxembourg gardens. We sat in the park/gardens for hours. The greenery, flowers, and pond were all gorgeous. You could rent out mini sailboats to sail in the fountain, and we watched them all day. Note the palm trees lining the garden and fountain. Here are a few pics from the day:

(mom here is my new jacket...had to sneak it in)
